DHTML Billboard Script uses interesting transitional effects in between messages to catch viewers' attention. Real life billboards use interesting transitional effects in between messages to catch viewers' attention. So does this DHTML billboard script! In IE5.5 , a random multimedia effect is applied during each message change, while in other modern browsers (NS6 /Opera7 ), the script still functions as normal, though minus the effect. This script uses regular DIV tags to contain all the messages you wish to be shown, for ease of customizing them. Additionally, in older browsers (ie: NS4/IE4), you can choose whether the script should hide all of the content or not, since if the later, all of the content is shown all at once (depending on your page design, you may not want this).

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
